Program will be approved for 1.5 ACHE Qualified Education
The Connecticut Association of Healthcare Executives is hosting a virtual annual meeting on June 18, inviting all of our members, sponsors and friends from the ACHE Massachusetts and ACHE Rhode Island Chapters to come together in a virtual environment to begin to heal from this unprecedented healthcare crisis.
A paradigm shift, as identified by the American physicist and philosopher Thomas Kuhn, is a fundamental change in the basic concepts and experimental practices of a scientific discipline. Paradigm shifts arise when the dominant paradigm under which normal science operates is rendered incompatible with new phenomena, facilitating the adoption of a new theory or paradigm.
It is imperative that every healthcare professional realizes the healthcare landscape has completely changed. Clinical skills and services alone will not see us through this new paradigm after COVID-19.
We must focus on improving the health outcomes, and the distribution of such outcomes, through quality improvement, improved workflows and systems of care within the communities we serve.
