We are continually seeking the ideas and energy of members who are interested in making a contribution to our chapter. Participating on a committee is a rewarding way to share your skills and knowledge in support of ACHE of MA. You can choose to volunteer on a committee or for an ad hoc volunteer effort. Volunteers have the opportunity to earn chapter service award points.
Diversity and Inclusion Committee

- Foster a broader view of the health workforce

Growing membership and promoting advancement, including the FACHE credential.
- Recruit and welcome new members
- Staff membership tables at events
- Support members seeking FACHE credential
- Enhance member experience and diversity
- Organize events across Massachusetts
Communications Committee
Chair: Kathy Sucich
Managing chapter communications, including social media, newsletters, and website updates.
- Manage social media and e-newsletters
- Content review for accuracy and professionalism
- Coordinate event photography
- Support Program and ECN committees
Sponsorship Committee
Chair: Christine Schuster
Managing sponsor relationships to support chapter initiatives.
- Engage with potential and existing sponsors
- Greet sponsors at events
- Identify event-specific sponsorship opportunities
Early Careerists Committee
Vice-Chair: Kerri-Lynne Kellam
Supporting emerging healthcare leaders with development and networking.
- Organize panel series and mentorship programs
- Plan and host networking events
- Manage event registration desks
Ad Hoc Volunteer Opportunities
If you prefer flexible ways to get involved, consider participating in one of our ad hoc volunteer efforts:
- Host a breakfast at your facility
- Sponsor an ECN event
- Become a mentor
- Help at the registration desk during an event
- Be a greeter at an event
- Write an article for the quarterly newsletter
Committee Volunteer Guidelines
As ACHE is a volunteer organization, we appreciate your time and commitment. To ensure consistency, members volunteering for committees must meet these guidelines:
- Be a member in good standing (i.e., dues paid)
- Attend most scheduled meetings and calls
- Actively participate in committee work
- Serve a minimum of one year
- Note: Some committees may have a size limit
